Blending Your Oils

     Experiment with the blending of your oils. All of the oils in your kit do blend well together. You decide the ratio of drops to carrier oil. Remember, start with less, as you can always add more. Also, go to the list of oils we carry, and see if by adding a couple of other oils you can expand your personalized healing pharmacy. Below is a list of ailments  you may be suffering from, or desired states you wish to achieve accompanied by a recipe.

Recipes

  • Adrenal Support

 

A.)

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

4 drops of Black Spruce

2 drops of Lavender

 

Use: In bath, apply to body, over adrenals, or body of your feet.

 

B.)

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

10 drops of Vetiver

6 drops of Sandalwood

5 drops of Geranium

 

Use: In bath, inhale, diffuser, or massage

 

  • Anger Relief

 

Any one of the following oils support relief form anger: Bergamot, Orange, Roman Chamomile, Petitgrain, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang. Make your own blend and use for inhalation, bath, diffuse, or massage.

 

  • Antidepressant

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

2 drops of Ylang Ylang

1drop of Cypress

2 drops of Grapefruit

1 drop of Ginger

 

Use: Inhale, massage, bath, or shower

 

  • Anxiety Relief

 

In a 5 ml bottle add:

20 drops of Vetiver

12 drops of Sandalwood or Cedarwood

10 drops of Ylang Ylang

 

Use: Diffuse, inhale, or massage on the bottom of your feet

 

  • Backache

 

In a 5 ml bottle add:

1 teaspoon of carrier oil

15 drops of Lavender

10 drops of Rosemary

10 drops of Peppermint

 

Use: In bath, or apply directly to your back. Do skin patch test first.

 

  • Burn Out

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

10 drops of Lavender

10 drops of Grapefruit

10 drops of Lemon

10 drops of Sandalwood

 

Use: Inhalation, massage, or put a couple of drops in one teaspoon of milk and add to bath.

 

  • Cellulite Oil Massage

 

In 4 oz of carrier oil add:

10 drops of Cypress

10 drops of Geranium

10 drops of Grapefruit

5 drops of Juniper

5 drops of Fennel

 

Use: Bath, massage, or inhaled.

 

  • Computer-Brain Fatigue

 

In 2 tablespoons of carrier oil add:

10 drops of Bergamot

10 drops of Lemon

10 drops of Rosemary

 

Use: Apply to wrists, temples or collarbone. Do skin patch test first.

 

  • Coping

 

Any one of the following oils supports adaptation and coping and the relief from worry: Clary Sage, Black Spruce, and Lavender. Make your own blend and use for inhalation, bath, diffuse, of massage.

 

  • Creative Inspiration

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

4 drops Geranium

6 drops of Grapefruit

8 drops of Palmarosa

 

Use: In bath, or massage.

 

  • Daily Uplift

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

1 drop of Bergamot

1 drop of Orange

1 drop of Frankincense

 

Use: In bath, inhale, or apply one drop to wrist, back of the neck, or over the liver.

 

  • Deep Calm

 

In 1 teaspoon of carrier oil add:

10 drops of Palmarosa

5 drops of Geranium

5 drops of Lavender

 

Use: Inhale, diffuse, or massage on the bottom of your feet. Do skin patch test first.

 

  • Depression

 

Any one of the following oils support relief from depression. Explore making your own blend using: Clary Sage, Bergamot, Frankincense, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lemon, Mandarin, Orange, and/or Ylang Ylang. Inhale throughout the day or massage on the bottom of your feet.

 

  • Detox in a Sauna

 

Use essential oils in the sauna to promote the elimination of waste products through the lungs and skin. Put the oils in water and throw on the coals or heat source. Essential Oils: Eucalyptus, Pine, Lemon, Rosemary, Grapefruit, Sandalwood, and Bergamot.

 

  • Digestion

 

Ginger, Peppermint and Grapefruit are excellent for digestion and appetite control.

 

  • Dissolve Emotional Blocks

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

2 drops of Black Spruce

2 drops of Grapefruit

1 drop of Ginger

 

Dissolve emotional blocks of frustration, regret, self critical, discouragement to increase confidence and courage. To meet my destiny and my creative expression that is spirit inspired, I must be willing to face and release all the moments of perceived failures, losses and emotional hauntings. I must fully digest my past to come fully into the present moment where the future awaits my inspired attention. Uplifting, cleansing, decongesting the lymphatic system, reducing fatigue.

 

  • Exhaustion, Mental

 

In two tablespoons of carrier oil add:

10 drops of Clary Sage

3 drops of Frankincense

3 drops of Peppermint

 

Use: Bath, massage, diffuse, or inhale.

 

  • Exhaustion, Physical

 

In two tablespoons of carrier oil add:

10 drops of Geranium

3 drops of Eucalyptus

3 drops of Grapefruit

3 drops of Lavender

 

Use: Bath, massage, diffuse, or inhale.

 

  • Fatigue

 

Any one of the following oils support energy: Pine, Black Spruce, Clary Sage, Geranium, Ginger, Palmarosa, and Lavender.

 

  • Fear

 

Any one of the following oils support relief from fear: Cedarwood, Grapefruit, Frankincense, Clary Sage, Lemon, and Orange.

 

  • Frustration Begone!

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

5 drops of Geranium

5 drops of Orange

 

  • Grief

 

Any one of the following oils support relief from grief: Black Spruce, Frankincense, Bergamot, Sandalwood, Helichrysum, and Lemon.

 

  • Headache

 

Headaches can be relieved by combining oils with accupressure points. Inhale one of the following oils: Roman Chamomile, Helichrysum, Peppermint, Lemon, or Eucalyptus. Use one of the following points: the pad of the thumb, back of the neck, or the cheek bones.

 

  • Inflamed Joints

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

6 drops of Juniper Berry

6 drops of Coriander

 

Use: Apply directly over joint and massage in. Do skin patch test first.

 

  • Nausea

 

Peppermint, Lemon, Ginger and Lavender

 

  • Promote Restorative Sleep

 

A.)

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

2 drops of Lavender

2 drops of Orange

1 drop of Ylang Ylang

 

B.)

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

2 drops of Clary Sage

1 drop of Geranium

2 drops of Petitgrain

 

  • Relaxing Sauna

 

In half cup of water add:

8 drops of Sandalwood

4 drops of Lemon

2 drops of Geranium

 

  • Resilience

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

10 drops of Orange

5 drops of Clary Sage

5 drops of Ginger

 

Use during times of great stress and frustration. Effective during the day to keep relaxed or at night to promote sleep. Inhale throughout the day, massage bottom of feet at night.

 

  • Resolve Deep Fatigue

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

2 drops of of Clary Sage

2 Drops of Frankincense

1 drop of Black Spruce

 

  • Stimulating Detox Blend

 

In half cup of water add:

4 drops of pine

3 drops of Rosemary

8 drops of Grapefruit

 

  • Store Muscles Massage

 

In one tablespoon of carrier oil add:

4 drops of Eucalyptus

4 drops of Rosemary

2 drops of Lavender

1 drop of Juniper Berry

 

  • Stress Release

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

2 drops of Geranium

2 drops of Grapefruit

1 drop of Ginger

 

  • Unrelieved Stress

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

4 drops of Grapefruit

3 drops of Spruce

3 drops of Geranium

1 drop of Palmarosa

 

Use: Bath, massage, inhale, or apply one drop to bottom of feet.

 

  • Wake up and Refresh

 

In a 5 ml bottle add:

22 drops of Orange

9 drops of Bergamot

9 drops of Lemon

5 drops of Petitgrain

 

Use: Apply to wrists, bottom of feet, inhale, or diffuse.

 

  • Women’s Blend

 

In one teaspoon of carrier oil add:

10 drops of Clary Sage

5 drops of Geranium

5 drops of Ylang Ylang

 

Use: Apply to wrists, bottom of feet, inhale, or diffuse.

 

  • Workaholic, Addiction to Overextension

 

In two tablespoons of carrier oil add:

6 drops of Lavender

4 drops of Geranium

2 drops of Lemon

1 drop of Petitgrain
